Following cases of Parisien supporters using smoke bombs and lasers within the stadium in PSG’s 1-0 win over Marseille on October 16, LFP announced the decision on Wednesday, with the disciplinary commission also handing down a one-match suspended ban for the Auteuil stand.

It is understood that the suspension is the result of cases where dozens of pyrotechnic devices were ignited during PSG’s Ligue 1 game against OM on October 16. Explaining the reasons, the disciplinary commission confirms that the club has been sanctioned for the “use of pyrotechnic devices, use of lasers and intrusion on the playing area.” The North stand of Lille’s Pierre-Mauroy ground has also been sanctioned with a suspended ban after incidents in the derby win over Lens on October 9.
